At the interface of astronomy and physics a new field of research is under rapid development: astroparticle physics. In this interdisciplinary research field several fundamental issues regarding the origin of matter in the universe are being explored. The subjects being addressed include: (very) high energy cosmic rays, dark matter, gravitation and neutrinos.

Recent developments of Astroparticle Physics in the Netherlands and worldwide will be discussed at this symposium which takes place on April 19 2011 at the University of Groningen.

On the two consecutive days (April 20 and 21) the University of Groningen will host the first Quantum Universe workshop; see link on the left-hand side.
